We have over 13 years of face and body art experience here in the Bay Area! We are insured and take care to use only cosmetic quality products approved for special FX and body art applications. We have worked all over California and maintain professional practices that our clients have come to know and trust. Our clients include Bay Area institutions large and small.

A date and time will be reserved for you upon receipt of your non-refundable $50 deposit. You can pay the deposit by cash,, Venmo, Paypal, or check. The balance is due on the date of performance.

On the big day, we will show up prepared anywhere in the Bay Area with our fancy director's chair and colorful paints. We also travel further (and on location) when arranged, so please inquire.

 

If you have a specific artist in mind, let us know and we will book them for you if they are available. If not, we will send a fabulous artist in their place, and we'll let you know who will be coming. Book early to make sure you get the best!

Our rates listed are considered for private parties or events. Corporate events, body paint, models, and extra costuming will change our rates, so contact us for a customized quote.

 

For face painting, an average of 15 to 20 faces can be painted per hour, depending on the design. We have a one-hour booking minimum. Additional time may be available on the date of the event if overtime is pre-approved.

 

Body paint takes anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, with the intensity of design and costume varying.

 

Rates are for one performer only, so keep in mind that a shorter event with lots of guests should have multiple performers working.

Travel fees may be added to certain locations, and will appear on your quote (if any).

  • Inform your guests that there will be face painting, and let them know the start and end time so they don't miss out.

 

  • Decide ahead of time where you would like the performer to entertain, and make sure that area is clear of obstacles. Indoors, a well-lit area works best. If your party is outdoors, provide a shaded area to work in. Avoid areas where water games are placed or anywhere near loud music.

 

  • Have some bottled water on hand for your performer.

 

  • For the well-being of the entertainer and guests, there must be at least one adult present with the performer and the children at all times. 

 

  • Set aside a small amount of time for photos to be taken, if you'd like.

 

  • If there will be a large amount of guests, consider enlisting a volunteer or helper to manage the line for the painter. Time spent line managing by the painter takes away from painting time.

 

  • Have a highlight such as cake or presents right after the performance, to take attention away from the performer‘s departure and put the focus back on you and the party. 

 

  • Preparing the payment in an envelope with the character’s name on it is a good idea. Parties can be hectic, so it's one less thing to worry about!

 

  • The $50 deposit is nonrefundable 3 weeks before the booking. Rescheduling is an option.

 

  • Most importantly, have fun! Feel free to sit down and enjoy the show.
